There is a have a go track day at Taupo on Saturday. $50 will get you on the track...then we will see who's faster, you? or me?
I tell ya, those track days are the frogs togs!
I thought we agreed to say nothing about that trip to Wairoa. Bugga, now I'll have to go in the medium group, we know how fast you are.

Nice ride to Taupo early Saturday morning with Ascott and Stormy1. A bit cold tho, minus 2 degrees at Rangitakei Tavern at 7.30am. The white stuff on the side of the road looked like snow, but we assumed it was a very heavy frost. Went to Patoka today for work ,and talking to a cockie there he said it snowed on the hills behind him on Friday night when the storm went through.
Excellent ride home again, passed a Goldwing then over the next hill was a revenue collector. Saved by Dale's electronics, but he got the 'Wing.
Thanks to Janet for the tips on correct lines, tyre pressures, braking, etc... Dropped lap times by 3.5 seconds a lap.
Thanks to Pacific Club for a great day out. Starting to like that Taupo track ( just a little bit.)

Next Manfeild trackday is 3rd of April ( EASTER SATURDAY) Central Districts Motorcycle Club. 50 bucks for the day. Slow, medium, fast, race. They are taking 50 online registrations for this as a trial.

Allways a great day out with these guys, well run and no mucking around.

Probably checking the rider had a HT licence?

She'll be so pleased to hear that. Was good advice, eh? I tried out what she said about it not being a race. She was right! Because I wasn't going so fast on the straight bits, the bike and I didn't get all stressed under brakes and I could hold a higher corner speed...was faster overall.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Great views from the back of the R1.
You could of changed into third and passed Rob, Grant.

    I miss the trackdays.
Need to get into better shape health wise before doing those again.
Great day for the group and thrashing the bikes.

Sounds like Janet's turned into a real demon, looks like I'll be waving her past when with her next.
