    Very very lucky

The bank down was significant, so was the steel post sticking out of the ground mm from the initial impact.
Apparently on the last flip of the bike (which cleared the fence), it was very lucky not to land on BigG

It went end for end a few times

So someone was looking out for our KBHB brother , but then again why was that pine cone there in the first place

    Pics

    1. The road (where the last bike is parked in about where BigG was already in the grass)

    2. He was just on the road side of the marker there, riding on the grass and doing ok by the look of it

    3. In this image, you will see 2 dark patches of dirt (just behind BigG in the blue leathers), this is the point of impact, it was huge washout!!, you can also see how far the bike went after flipping over and over, BigG ended up leaning against the fence

    4. Close up of the washout! The yellow thing in the foreground is the steel post sticking out which held the marker up (now laying down)

Hi G. Bugger mate. Pleased to hear you are ok. I heard about it last night and was pleased to hear you were ok. Bikes can be fixed or replaced. Thank God you are ok. It looks like it could have been a lot worse for you. Well done that man. We dropped off early cos of work. Sorry we were not able to help you. Take care buddy. Steve

Yea BigG, you were a lucky boy. Seeing where you went over, I don't like to think about what might have been. We are all commiserating with you over the demise of your pride and joy (and she was a true minter). Broken toe, eh? No wonder you were limping a bit. I don't know how you managed to climb on the gixxer, now I'm doubly glad that I chose to go real easy. BTW you are a good pillion.
Speedy recovery, and a quick resolution with the insurance, mate. If there is anything else I can do to help, just sing out.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    A few more

    A few bike shots

This bike was a minter, when I first saw the bike that week (and not knowing my sports bikes ) I thought it was a new bike!!

Still BigG at least you are ok, that is all that matters to us!
And give us a call when you are ready to go shopping for a new one, the KBHB clan can tag along, they say power in numbers

If you want to ride this weekend, you are welcome to ride an Old Mans bike (apparently) my Beemer if you like, I will not be here this weekend, so wont be able to ride!

Good on you, Scott. The mark of a true gentleman, offering another the use of your bike. This is what KB means to us here in Hawkes Bay - never leave a mate stranded.

George, when we came around the corner and saw your pride and joy in the paddock, I nearly cried. I am so glad that you are ok tho. As others have said, bikes are replaceable, people are not.
Rest up mate, and keep taking that Arnica...trust me, it will even help your broken toe!
Let us know if you need anything.

Thanks Scottie, thats an awesome gesture, but next week Lance and I were supposed to be going to an event in Upper Hutt we was looking forward to it, but Lance's bike needs a new alternator so it looks like we will be cageing down. Cheers mate.
