Cheap to good home : website project!

Does anyone here make websites for a living and want to help out a great company with a smaller than average budget?

We're looking for a pretty standard/basic website with a content management system. I tried to learn Xoops for like a week and it nearly did my head in! I need some help..

We're a fairly capable bunch, won't be painful to deal with and we can give you design / structure / content etc, but we do need someone to make the thing go.

Please PM me if you might be keen.

I don't do them for a living but I do them. Mines at http://www.skunkworks.net.nz. Not the flashiest but it works.

I've never used XOOPS before so I'm downloading it now. In the meantime I can tell you I've done a couple of user-managed sites before but I'm by no means an expert.

Download is done and I've installed it. Looks easy enough. What issues were you having?

    What the site about?

hit me up girl! www.vrnzaf.orcon.net.nz and www.vrnzaf.orcon.net.nz/motott/index.htm

also doing one for a friends apartment block in Sunshine Coast, but hey, you now i need the money!

The motoTT was just a trial run I did, the images arent scaled to web-quality hence the slow load. And the vRNZAF thing is a bit of shambles the further you go into it, but thats because i gave up on running the organisation itself, and hence didnt feel the need to sort out the website.

I also don't create websites for a living... so it's more like, what issues wasn't I having..

Thanks heaps for the PMs and offers of help you guys. You're awesome, KB is awesome, and blings all round.

My boss's friend has offered to do the work, so we are actually sorted.

    Thanks again!

Ooeer.. I've heard that a few times. If it all turns to $hit you know where to find us all on KB.

Might want to check your href paths... "The requested URL /exercies.htm was not found on this server"

Spelling means a lot in HTML...

If things don't work out with ya boss's friend I can hook you up with the guys who did my business site. Don't know what your budget is, but there basic packages start at $500. I have slowly added to mine over the last 18 months and is about to go through a major upgrade again.
