Excellent Hawkeye, be good to see you! Maybe Mel could do us one of her famous sun dances, I'm just not that good at them .

Now if you really, really want' to come along. The CBX is still sitting in the garage if you think you can handle the extreme power to weight ratio.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

We came, We listened, And in one voice we answered

Well, I was thinking of maybe heading to Martinbourough and having picnic lunch on the square, that way anyone who can't make a sandwich can grab themselves something at one of the cafés and we can all have a sit down on the grass and chew the fat in a relaxed type manner (a bit like a bunch of cows!). How does that sound?
Sounds like a great plan to us .. we are no longer away so wil ljoin the rest of the crew

    Kapiti Riders

If anyone else is going on this ride from Kapiti, we can meet at the Mobil by the lights, departing at 9:45am. That should get us to Rimutex well before 11am.

We'll be passing Pautahanui Challenge at about 10:15am if anyone else wants to meet there.

I'll be at the Caltex truck stop Kaiwharawhara 9:45am for 10:00am depature.
Ooh, which bike to take?? The CX400, heavy but new and exciting, or the good old tried and trusted and mutilated-mutated Apocalypse SR250?
Hmmm... I think the SR. If nothing else it will be a conversation piece.
I can't be there the whole day, I have to be back in Wellington to do an evening cruise on the boat at 5.30pm, so I'll make it to Featherston / Carterton with your folks before turning back.

If the weather is good - the child bride and I may join you for luncheon...... Assuming I'm not ambushed by the crate of Corona seductively calling me from the fridge...

Good morning all!!!! Have an excited kid on my hands who's off to Tauranga on the 9:40 plane to collect his new ride. But anyway, anyone want to give us a first-hand report of what the weather is doing in the Hutt and in the 'Rapa, please. Looks like the damp cloud stuff will burn off to me, but then, I'm a bit meteorologically challenged!
Oh and anyone from the 'Rapa can choose to meet us at Rimutex at 11-11:20ish or at the top of the hill at about 11:30ish.
