emailed the nice people at the camp ground re: hiring sheets/blankets etc as riding two up, sleeping bags, blah blah is a pain.
Linen and blankets, $5 a night. Hope the blankets are as thick as me.

go to factory shops, there is a great one in palmy .. merino thermals seconds for around $20 bucks .. brought some last yr .. will get some more & some long johns methinks

Riding in the middle of the day isn't too bad, it's colder upon sunset though. Wet weather gear helps insulate better -Even if it's warehouse stuff over your usual (cut off the hood). Decent glove will be a cheap investment.
Course with my wife not going I'll be able to use the electric vest. - What?
