    oil light won't go off

I changed my water pump today and didn't read the manual first. I thought it would be easy, it was. But i got a surprise when I removed the water pump and oil poured out. oops! Anyway, put everything back and filled up the water etc. Now my oil light won't go out. The sight glass says the oil level is fine but the light stays on. any ideas?

Fark I replaced the light display on top of my dash and the oil light wouldn't go out... I discovered the fuel light is in a different spot on the RF600 if it has one and I ran out of gas... it was the oil light that's wired in it's place.....

This doesn't help you at all but if you go back and double check everything one step at a time then you could find your issue...

Check the connection to the oil pressure sender unit, maybe a loose terminal?
