That bike might have been at Riverhead on Sunday, not sure but there was an RM250 with number 7 on it. Might be a co incidence. I would seriously consider that bike Cheese. I'm very happy with mine.

Well I had a ride on Booooms 06 CR250 and Archers 07 KX250, to be honest I liked both the bikes, but archers was much more forgiving. The CR had very sharp power delivery and the slightest twist of the throttle and you were up on the back wheel and flying! The KX had a much nicer delivery of power and just felt easier to ride. I think that the heavier flywheel was probably the thing that made all the difference, but I flet more in control on the KX. all other aspects felt very similar.

So it will be interesting to see this one on Saturday, it's the same year as Archers, but with a few porting mods. I didn't really get to open both of the bikes up as there were 5,000 people at ardmore and the track was so wet it was a slip and slide!!! Plus I was quite parinoid of stacking the bikes, and I haven't had a ride since last year!!

    Roll on Saturday

Hey cheese wouldn't getting a fly wheel weight fix the CR problem. As per the other thread I'm having exactly the same problem. Although I'm blaming it on my lack of skill to handle all that power even though my bike is a much earlier model.
As per handling after many years karting and getting into MX. I have come to the conclusion that any MX bike you buy you have to get the shocks sent away and set up for the riding you do and your riding stlye. Or is that just because I haven't ridden a KTM??
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

FFS - just man up would ya. Ohhh, its got a sharp power delivery (insert prancing Homer smiley here). If your worried about the power delivery, just stick with the XR one hundy, ya big girls blouse.

It's a 2/ 250. If it doesn't have a sharp power delivery, whats the point?

Get real! How was I sposed to know who he is? I should not be on this site because I don't know who spank me is?

Thanks Archer for enlightening me. No harm done. Thought the site had been hacked, thats all.

They both have sharp power delivery, the CR was just very very unforgiving and felt like a rocket as soon as I touched the throttle.

I'd say the difference it entirely in the flywheel though. I'm just saying that it made the bike much easier to ride.

I want to buy a bike already. I'm just waiting for it to get to Auckland!!!
