    Geek question - streaming audio

Heya guys, I'm trying to stream radio from a website but although the flash player says its playing I cant hear anything. I have a suspicion its my mork blocking streaming media so was wondering if there is a way around this?

have you tried the actual stream link?
    http://stream.upfm.dj:8000/upfm_mp3_128.m3u

That should play in something like VLC (VLC is brilliant, plays pretty much anything.

Oh and are you at work behind a proxy or at home just on normal jetstream?

Confirmed its ok for me at home too. I suspect because its running on port 8000 is where the trouble lies.

If you really wanna listen to it i guess the best bet is to restream from home on a normal port - 443 or something.
