Stolen bike -- Friville primary school area (Christchurch, 28 March)

My brothers 1984 GN250 was stolen outside Friville Primary School between 6.10pm and 7:30pm tonight (28/3).

The registration is 91MLJ. It is a deep red colour. The rear guard has a sticky square on it from the registration sticker. The warrent sticker has no hole punched in it. Has a broken brake lever (just the knob on the end has come off). One side cover is missing the Suzuki badge. The right foot peg (if your sitting on the bike) is bent at the wrong angle when compared to the left and it has done about 50200 miles.

If you kind people could keep an eye out for this bike in the New Brighton area and let me know if you see anything that would be much appreciated. You can either post here or txt me on 027 2547 159.

Cheers guys. It is much appreciated.

I had a we ride around the parks in that area today and didnt see anything so I can only presume that it has been dumped in someones garage which is a shame. Or it was ridden off. Those bikes arnt exactly hard to hot wire.

Bugger! Will keep an eye out. Don't suppose it was insured. See if you can put a notice up at some local bike shops.

    Na it wasnt insured.

Hes not to pissed off about that, more the fact that he had just filled the tank and put in a new head light bulb.

Good idea about the notice at the local bike shops.

Personally I think that it will probably end up at the Waimak this weekend and that will be that.

    A shame really.
