Ah Speedie, you got that right I wondn't trust you as far as I could throw you. as for climbing on thr back of your machine! Its got a rear seat the size of one of my foot plates, where is a man expected to sit???????????
Maybe thats why you sports bikers like the zero back seat, close contact with your pillion (wink wink)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES its fast and NO you can't have a ride!

A51 handled like a pig Now if you had got the opportunity to play with a real toy A35!!!!!!!!! Old Papatoetoe Railway station corner! Big enough to make MOTS (the female version) go absolutely dead quiet for longer than a minute:eek

But, as it turns out being a rider has its advantages when pillioning, leaning into the corners comes REAL natural, and after the first couple of km's (going from Mt Welly to Papalura - ~25km) I was loving it!

It was even more fun after the throttle inadvertantly opened, and small ice crystals formed on my visor *cough cough*

And all said and done, Blue_Thunder handles his bike bloody nicely, so that made it better.

So all you pillion virgins, get on the back and have a go - it's not that bad
Donor! Glad you enjoyed the experience, nice to see you could still maintain a smile after your initial Arse clenching moment And before Speedie makes some rude comment! I meant the reaction of the pillion not being in control of the machine

My first pillion experience was on the back of thehollowmen's old GN250. Yes yes, GN250s suck and all, I know I know.

With me being just under 6' tall and thehollowmen just over, and our combined weight being something like 160kg, it felt a bit like an elephant riding a pony.

I tried riding with a pillion passenger for the first time this weekend. The bike felt...hmmm... pregnant. My missus didn't like the experience - said it was boring because all she could see was my back.

Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

I had my mrs on the back of the Gix the other night and she said she liked it more than the old CBR because she could see the rev counter and speedo
