    Gidday Goblin,

I hope the doctor's treating you well and giving you lots of pain-killers.

I was just thinking, broken thumb, arm laceration - you didn't damage those gloves, did you? Did they protect you at all? Did they survive or just rip up? I was thinking that they really should have had a bit more palm protection. I hope they saved you loosing some skin at least.

Did you hear how the newbie guy that tossed his bike got on?

Hey Chris, the young Dr today was a bit of a hottie. The pills I got today are working ok and dont make me spew my ring out. And I can eat again!
The gloves worked a treat thanks mate! I checked all my gear out today and it all did its job perfectly! Both gloves have scars and will race again. My boots, thanks to MotoGirl, saved my right ankle which was stuck under the bike, and only have a few scuffs. Helmet scraped along the track so I guess it's totalled. Pauls leathers will need a bit of a patch up and some tlc from BabyB.

I still havn't heard how the SV guy got on. Anyone know?

I'm so relieved my "rubbish" helped you out.
Edit: On the upside, at least now your boots should match - I scuffed the left one when I crashed in them!

Haha, oh well, at least you had something other than the injuries to concentrate on! It's good that he got you onto some more agreeable medication to. I'm glad to hear the gloves worked, I've been looking at some for myself and pondered the palm protection thing a few times. That must have been one of the first grazes for Pauls leathers, was it? You're probably right on the helmet, sounds like it took a bit of a beating to. Besides, you don't want a scratched up old helmet in that chequered flag photo!! I hope the op all went well and you had some nice dreams Get well soon (& don't knock that thumb!! )

    Cheers for now

The SV guy was was walking around fine afterwards, his bike didnt get going after that, so serves him right. BTW, that 400 is a pig to lift after street stock practice then going straight into f3 practice, talk about a cardio and resistance training double whammy!
