what a ride so far!!!!
Gidday Goblin,
I hope the doctor's treating you well and giving you lots of pain-killers.
I was just thinking, broken thumb, arm laceration - you didn't damage those gloves, did you? Did they protect you at all? Did they survive or just rip up? I was thinking that they really should have had a bit more palm protection. I hope they saved you loosing some skin at least.
Did you hear how the newbie guy that tossed his bike got on?
Oh Noes!!
Hey, you is typing so you mustn't be too bad.
Your kids will think you are god in a week: "My mum crashed in motorcycle race! But she's tough and next time is gonna win!"
Cheers Rustys, I missed being out there. Congrats on the fourth spot! Podium next year eh?
yes even narrower I hope there will be changes made in future races there. Put the shits up me anyway. I'll probably never ride as well through there ever again.
Cheers matey. Love yous longtime.
Oooh the shoulder is the worst part. Thumb is getting wired up in the morning. Oh no more hospital drugs.
think it may be later than sooner. was a doozy!
Hey Chris, the young Dr today was a bit of a hottie. The pills I got today are working ok and dont make me spew my ring out. And I can eat again!
The gloves worked a treat thanks mate! I checked all my gear out today and it all did its job perfectly! Both gloves have scars and will race again. My boots, thanks to MotoGirl, saved my right ankle which was stuck under the bike, and only have a few scuffs. Helmet scraped along the track so I guess it's totalled. Pauls leathers will need a bit of a patch up and some tlc from BabyB.
I still havn't heard how the SV guy got on. Anyone know?
Bloody good scare you gave us all there Goblin.
Best you're not doing that again in a hurry! Heal up soon.
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
only got a couple of you Kel
hope you are feeling ok

Haha, oh well, at least you had something other than the injuries to concentrate on! It's good that he got you onto some more agreeable medication to. I'm glad to hear the gloves worked, I've been looking at some for myself and pondered the palm protection thing a few times. That must have been one of the first grazes for Pauls leathers, was it? You're probably right on the helmet, sounds like it took a bit of a beating to. Besides, you don't want a scratched up old helmet in that chequered flag photo!! I hope the op all went well and you had some nice dreams Get well soon (& don't knock that thumb!! )
Cheers for now
Hey Goblin.
You get better and bounce back girl so i can try you out for the CANBRACE ride at a track day coming later.
Crashing is one thing but when a guy chucks his whole bike at ya its a bit tough aye !!!!
Stay safe Paul.
Yup! He sure made an impression on me!
Thanks for all the encouraging thoughts everyone. I cant wait to get back out there again.
Thanks for the pics Kiwifruit...and good onya for giving affy a go out there. I was stoked to see the huge grin on his face. was the highlight of my day.
Hey Goblin, I hope the injuries are on the way to a super fast recovery. Total bad luck it happened to you. Looking forward to seeing you back at the track real soon chick
The SV guy was was walking around fine afterwards, his bike didnt get going after that, so serves him right. BTW, that 400 is a pig to lift after street stock practice then going straight into f3 practice, talk about a cardio and resistance training double whammy!
heal fast
heal quick Goblin, i was looking forward to watching you race after listening to Jill talk about your racing.... its inspiring for us girls!
stay safe and see you at the track soon ay.... big hugs...
Taking it to the track thanks to: KIWIBIKE INSURANCE & PIRELLI TYRES, EXPERIENCE MOTORCYCLES, EBC Brakes, SUPERSPROX Sprockets, TSUBAKI Chains, RST Leathers, REPSOL Oils, FutureGrafix, Autolink
