...thought I'd try to put a short report together, I'll try to keep it weeny.
Thurs...Fizzerman and myself decide we're going to haul up to Taupo for some racing.
Friday... Bike is still in road trim....and a wobbly buckled front disk....talked ever so nicely to Fizzy and he sorted it for me(what a hero!), waited till he passed out with exhaustion then Mikey and myself went and played with his bike and made it all race legal and....."pretty"...(oh..that was me)
Saturday...slept in lots, loaded the ute up, drove to KF's place in tandom with the director/manager/rider/cheezle muncher (coz twisties aint for straight people) of TPR mr Poo's. Drinks with some cool racer friends at some Irish bar, then back to KF's for bed. (BTW Draco.....that rule we discussed.....it worked for me lol.)
Sunday... big hugs with Riffy and little hugs with WT then practice time.
Wicked.....I had GREAT brakes! you rock Fizzy!
Race 1, good start, got holeshot, led till some H...Ho...HO..HONDA600 got me. got 2nd.
Race 2, same as race one.....the HO got me again. (No offence mr Honda rider.....you was faster than me
Race 3, determined to beat the HO. and the rest of the field, good start, got the holeshot, lead till 2nd to last lap when I got passed, but he tried to outbrake me and ran in too hot so I passed him back. And wern't gonna take that nonsence again. Got the chequered flag that time. And overall Clubmans winner for the day.
Thumbs up to my bike for keeping me upright, to Fizzerbum for making it stop!, and encouraging me that I could go faster. To Kerry at KTL motorcycles.....he's 'da man'. To mr POOs for giving me all the confidence to help me (and being my bitch) lol. And to Riffy,WT,Nicksta,Keystone19,Draco, for the laughs....you guys rock! to kiwifruit for the pad and the pics. I hope you all had an enjoyable day.
