Fizzerman reporting, PMCC round 4 (I think)

    Where to start...

Spent Friday night getting Flame's bike ready, and was absolutely shattered, so I passed out on the couch, with the intension of doin my bike in the morning.

Wake up, and go to start the transformation to race bike, only to find Flame and Mikey had done it for me, onya guys, you da bomb.

Hit the road for Taupo around two, dawdling and stopping for coffe, we get to KF's place just after seven. Right, lets hit the piss.

Wake up Sunday, and it's mint weather, fuck I'm glad I bought my wets. After sign in, and a lot of pissing about, we get our practice.

Never seen the track before, so I'm keen to follow someone around it, on only the second lap, I get a bit of a slide over the crest on turn five, as I start to feather the throttle, the farkin bike shuts off and damn near highsides me, in with the clutch, and pull off the inside of the track. Turns out I'd not taped my sidestand switch up tight enough, so hoon back into the pits, and rejoin for only two laps before it's all over.

Race 1. Start from the outside on the third row, and seem to be the only guy watchin the right flag. Got a pearler launch, but not such a good track position for turn 1. Managed to find a slot in fifth spot, with a bit of a gap in front of me. Here I am kinda fucked, cos I've got no bloody idea where I'm going, ran in fifth for a coule laps, and just as NickO was about to go past me, I have a HUGE slide round turn five, dragging knee, footpeg, and fairing. I managed not to drop it somehow, but ran out of raod, so stood the old girl up and went off into the kitty litter. When I came back onto the track, both my feet had cramped up, and I couldn't change gear. I did a lap in second, but flagged it and pulled into the pits.

Race 2. Start from around the same spot, and get another good take off. Again showing a lot of the field, that my K2 is a freak, and super quick in a straight line. As Poos mentioned in his report, coming into turn 1, looking to make a move the double long way, around both him and Jimmy, I find my piece of track gettin a might narrow, nice defence on Poos part.

So I spent the rest of this race, sitting behind the Trash man, trying to learn some lines, and where the track goes. A guy on a motards caught up to us, so we played a bit. Right through this race, I'm sliding out of every left hand turn except turn 1, the cat on the motard was well impressed with my efforts, (I was more interested in gettin hold of some clean undies.)

I flagged race three in the end, because my rear tyre is now fit for the dump, and I'd already scared myself stupid.

    Great day all in all.

Special thanks to Kiwifruit for the bed, you're a star.

And to Flame and Mikey for gettin my bikie ready.

Cheers bro, woulda been nice to stay on the track and follow you two, but by the time I found my way back to the track, you were gone. Maybe I should have taken a short cut, it's only illegal if you gain position, so I could have waited at the tyre shicane for ya.

Ummm, just a question. If your K2 Thou is such a demon off the start, how come you had to try and get past an eleven year old 750 in turn one?
