Nice write up Big Dog, I know the feeling aswell and if I hadn't taken part of my engine appart and wasn't feeling crook I would be out there riding right now.

"But did a thread about riding really need to be hijacked into this?"

They almost always do but you're quite right, why does a feel-good post get the guts ripped out of it? (Coz it can?) Someone relays their feelings of a cool ride, the aftermath or whatever and BLAM! "Caught red handed showing feelings.."

Of course, I'm too tough to express my feelings about a ride....nah, none of that nancy-pants crap, far too much of that about (on U-tube especially, seen Brad's new bike?), I'd rather tell nobody about how cool riding is, keep it to myself, sharing is so last year. Get off the roads, I want them all to myself, shove your opinions, mine's the only one that matters, your bike sucks anyway, ad infinitum.

Good post, we've all had days like that but few put them into words. Maybe more should.

BigDog that was an awesome description. You have a way with words.

Once you are in that moment when two become one, its all on. Sometimes it does take a bit of getting into but looks like you seized the moment!!

    Good on ya!
When the engine and rider is in tune...you know its going to be a good ride.
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
