    This thing is INSANE.

I'm sorry to post about a 4 wheeler BUT holey shit batman
Imagine this--a Mitzi RVR which for those that dont know is a 1800cc 3 door grandaddy car -sorta a rav4 with small wheels.
Now the japs wondered what would happen if they fed one on steriods
    This thing is the result.
Powered by a 2.0l intercooled turbo motor with big bore exhaust and pod filter. Coupled to a manual gearbox and traction controlled 4wd Throw in a body kit, recaro seats alloy wheels -Light the fuze and GOOOO.
It is totally INSANE to drive -just kicks ya back in ya seat and begs for more.
Shit I am impressed--and trust me it takes a lot of car to get me as excited as riding a cb100 does.

    Yuck.

You need to hurry up and get your legs around that 750, man. You're obviously losing touch with reality.

    Mitsubishi RVR Supersports gear IIRC.
I have a friend who's wife has one, I think it has full EVO III running gear. His one doesn't look as racy with the standard bumber and steel wheels but he loves surprising the boy racers with it.

Yeah the one I want to buy here in Whangas is a Sportsgear 2.0L Manual same as Frosty's one but no turbo atm, pod filter is has. I checked the engine number and it looks like the Evo engine.

What's the engine number? This one here is 4G63.

Nup not a GSR motor, the 4G63 which is the EVO motor and was originally from the early VR-4's, it should have about 200kw at the crank....

The guys down at Olsen Developments (just down the road from me) tuned a RVR to make 340kw.......... AT THE WHEELS!!!!!!!!!! Now that is just asking to drag evo's..........
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz

    Ok
you have the Mitsubishi Lancer GSR, which is a 1.8 Turbo (cant remember engine number).
Then you have the Lancer Evo (4G63 T), there are two versions, the GSR which has all standard road trim, electric windows n stuff.
Then there is the RS version .Its got shit seats, wind down windows and a few other things (cheap wheels?). This version is slightly lighter, made for ralliers like this so they can just chuck out the shit seats/wheels and put race ones in.

so in summary, a Lancer Evo GSR is different to a Lancer GSR.
