    PMCC Virgin Report

Guess you've read it all by now but thought i'd better throw my 2cents worth in too. What an awesome day had by all! Saturday night at the pub Affman and I were comparing whose hands were shaking the most??!! It sure helped my nerves to know that I was not the only race virgin to be sacrificed on Sunday.

Race 1, and I had no f*&^n clue what i was supposed to do. Headed out on the track and just followed the crowd hoping I wasn't the only one with cold tyres (no tyre warmers for this amateur). Fortunately having had a little play at the drags meant my start was ok, but being on the final row of the grid meant I had alot of bikes to chase. Hauled up behind the first bike in my way to discover no brakes thought I was gunna have a heart attack if my heart beat any faster. Got stuck behind a thou weaving all over the track and discovered I got alota work to do in the overtaking stakes as I watched Nicksta fly round the outside of me and him! Came in 13th and feeling really frustrated at not having the balls to take the guy on the thou when I could and not having the grunt to get him on the straights. Consoled myself with the fact that 13th was a reasonable way from last.

Race 2, WT sends me out on the track with a good pep talk. I head off chanting "grow some balls, grow some balls" all the way round the warm up lap. Managed to slip into Deaths spot in the pits while he was out and flog the tyrewarmers Keystone had leant him. What a difference!! Peeled in to turn 1 and felt the rubber stick! Nicksta and I crept up a line on the grid this time. Still wasn't far enough and had to work my butt off yet again. But I rode the hardest ive ever ridden before. Enjoyed playin leap frog with Nicksta, trading places on the track many times over. Still got stuck behind the thou for a bit but felt I had ridden like a demon. Disappointed to find I'd only made up 1 place by the end of the 2nd race. But hey, goin forwards not backwards.

Race 3, Determined as hell that I was gunna make everyone avoid me instead of the other way round. Tried to follow Nickstas styly move round the outside of everyone on turn 1, only to discover as she met the mess of bikes half way round I nearly kissed her ass Rode hard, picked off a few bikes and managed to get my knee down in places I usually don't. Finished 11th, up another place again

Thanx to all who helped me in the pits. Well done to Nicksta and Affman for their virgin run too! Cheers to Team BS for all your support and encouragement to give this a go. You guys ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers for the pics guys, and all the encouragement. I wouldn't have even had a go if it weren't for Keystone & Nicksta convincing me I could, i've experienced many things in my life and it's an awesome feeling to chalk a real race under my belt. Nicksta you need to get your butt in to F3 doll with those ballsy overtaking moves of yours, you taught me a thing or two on the day!!
