TEX--don't sweat it dude --we're quietly taking the piss. Check my reply earlier.
The guy at SEM is a bloody wonder when it comes to vespas and the likes.
It would be interesting to know if your scoot has been restricted like the little jap scooters are. Some have restricted exhausts and some have plugged manifold rubbers.

Jet Assisted Take-Off. You'll find much more information by googling. Check it out and you'll appreciate the humour, I'm sure.

And nobody's shooting you down for asking questions, but it would probably be appreciated if you made the effort to spell, grammatise and capitalise correctly. This isn't #nzteen.

Tell you what. Just make one reasonably substantial post (say, the size of the one I'm replying to here) without a single spelling or grammatical error, and I'll hand you some green-point lovin'.

    Deal?

Alright I will try my best. Please give me some good advice.
Is that right or did I screw it up again?

    Good man. There you go.

'Alright' is dubious, but dictionary.com lists it as a 'nonstandard variation', so the pedantry police will have to leave you alone for the time being.

OK Firestorm, what is in your opion the best way to increase the speed of my green machine. I want it to be able to sit at 100km/hr without reving it self shitless And i also want to increase its take off preformance. I only have about sixhundred dollars to spend on parts I can get labour from a mechanic for free.
    Thank You

Holy Crapola, Batman - why don't you ask me something easy, like how to extract gold from seawater, or how to tell the sex of goldfish with your eyes shut....
It's not restricted, right? So there's no easy route there, by pulling things off. Is it manual transmission or CVT? If CVT, then there's pulleys and stuff you can muck about with, otherwise :spudwhat: .
You could spend heaps on blueprinting the engine (machining ports, reducing squish area in the cylinder, etc etc.) then whack in a higher compression piston and an expansion chamber zorst and different carb etc. If it really is based on a Vespa, you could shoehorn a secondhand Vespa engine in.
But in my humble opinion, it's all tantamount to flogging a dead horse.
I reckon (unless one of the scooter shops beg to differ) that you're better to just look after it and trade up to something better when you're ready.
Maybe not the answer you're after, but even with summat like the FahrtSturm, there's no cheap 'n easy path to "More powr, Cap'n!"
    ... and that's what I think.

Oh well *sighs* thank you guys for your help any way. I am probbly going to upgrade my exhaust to the Sito Plus which will give me a top speed of about 110 km/hr and leave the rest of the bike alone untile i decide to get a "real" bike that is. Until next time.

If you only want to spend $650, get the exhaust done and then look at a compressoin test. If you want better handling, get some stickier tyres. They won't (see I remembered the apostrophe - Any complaints there?) last as long, but will give you much better grip. Then get some plastic running board runners, or even titanium ones, so when you scrape them you get sparks!
