    Dead GSX 250

Can anyone help? I was messing around with my horn today as it wasn't working at all and touched the connected metal unit to the front fork. There was an arc and the electrics went totally dead. Obviously I have no electrical knowledge, if I did this probably wouldn't have happened. Does anyone have any idea about what I've done? The bike is a 2004 Suzuki GSX 250. Any insight appreciated, cheers.

Almost certainly blown the main fuse. Not sure where it is on your bike, but guess it may reside next to the starter solenoid. Follow the red lead off the battery until you find it.

My friend. You were dead right. Didn't notice much in the fearful kerfuffle after the bike died but after following your advice and looking again I found the blown main fuse quite easily. You're on my christmas card list tough guy, cheers!
