Nope. With my Scots heritage (no, it's not a rare Harley) I figure that even if I only smoked a packet a week the cost for a year would be more than my rego, oil/filter changes per year - and still leave change for fuel for a week or two.

.Smoking (of any substance) most definitely ain't my thing, and never has been. Don't mind other people doing it, just so long as I don't have to breath in the smoke.
Very few that we ride with smoke (just as it happens, not planned that way). If they do, they light up at a coffee stop.

Being frustrated is disagreeable.
But the real disasters in life begin when you get what you want.
Used to, but got sensible about 16 years ago. Just as well, too. Aside from the health issues, my final rate would cost me $100 a week these days.![]()
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.
Yes - but cigars only and only when the mood suits
Ditto. I cant stand it. Boy I cant wait till the smokefree laws arrive in december for pubs/bars. Then I might actually go out again. Fucked if im going to subject myself to other people stinkbreath.Originally Posted by celticno6

Wish it was banned completely.
Yep I agree. I can't stand the filthy habit and the addictive behaviour bullshitOriginally Posted by Devil
that goes with it.
Or you are halfway through a conversation and they just HAVE to
go outside and have a smoke
I hate the inconsideration of smokers around non smokers - go bugger your own lungs and throat not ours thank you. When a smoker whos had a smoke
comes into my office for a few seconds and goes out, I can't get rid of the after stink for about 15 minutes
all I can say to smoking--YUK NEVER
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Baccy smoke. Yuck. Being married to an asthmatic makes you very aware of it, too. Sarah's pretty bad; anybody smoking within about 50 metres sets her off.
I can't WAIT for the 'no smoking in bars' law to kick in. We might actually be able to GO to some occasionally.

Yeah,I used to smoke a pack a day, gave it away when I got married. My wife hates smoking, though I do manage to sneak in the occasional cigar.I have to admit I dont miss the addiction but there are moments when a packet of B&H looks bloody good!
Must agree, there are many ignorant smokers out there, why, I used to be one. Although I smoke I do respect others wishes in that if its a smoke free home it stays that way when I am there. Like some others have said it is not a problem when visiting, at work or riding, its just not an issue.Originally Posted by KATWYN
BUT give a man a guts full of beer and judgement can fly out the window. Even still I do not smoke in a non-smokers house even when drinking.
I dont even smoke in MY house, I go outside where i have a tin with a lid for an ashtray.Originally Posted by Mongoose
Last time I visited with my friends whom smoke, I went outside when they lit up!!
Even then, when I got home, I could smell the smoke in my clothes. YUCK.
Had a moment about 3yrs into my life when my dad's pipe looked pretty coolThat put me off smoking for life.
