Sure - one at a time - I don't do the group thing.

    but I won't have a patch on.

thats about me too Dave.Am involved with other biker clubs and I feel too thinly spread at times.I think at the end of the day the majority of bikers become a 'family '(roving gypsey blood) but in particular KB has opened the door even wider ..
BIG thankyou Spankme and team..and Cola for reminding us of that ...

    Yeah - that's me.

Thing is I'm fiercely independent. Tattooed that way. It rancours slightly that by posting on a web site it's often assumed that I belong to a group or represent it.

No probs with the folks at all and enjoy selected communications. 6000+ posts worth huh.

I was out at Riffer's place yesterday while he helped me change my fork oil and generally tidy them up. We had a slight problem (being noobs) with trying to get the bottom bolt out... so what to do? After trying all that our poor little brains could come up with we thought we'd zip into town and pick up the spare forks I had and rebuild one to replace the one we thought was stuffed. Nice pillion trip only to find they are a different model to mine (they fit Riffer's bike though). Hmmm... Ah!! Ring someone... 1st call Frosty - no answer, 2nd call MDU (on his birthday) - no answer, 3rd call White Trash - no answer.... Ooo-er 4th call Shaun Harris - "Hello" Woohoo! The right advice from the right man.

All of that story aside, what a great place we have here! When you can call one of the top guys in NZ racing and suspension and ask him why we're unable to get something undone. No talking down to us - just a straight answer. The same goes for a lot of other people on here - they'll help just because it's the right thing to do. I've got my bike back on the road for less than $500 when it should have cost thousands - thanks to people who know people or skills that people here have.

So thanks firstly to Spankme for providing the conduit that this community flows through and secondly to you. Yep you - even if I haven't met you yet. YOU are what makes this place great.Thanks.

::edit:: And for all you thinking I may be getting a little soft and fluffy in my old age - c'mere, I got a cuddle for ya!
aww... you could give me a cuddle... but i may die...

... and so today after posting (is that post post?) I went out on this newbie ride thing which wasn't really a newbie ride at all. It was more like just a bunch of people who enjoy riding (in the real world) had great company, great weather and some great country to ride in. Life and KB is still pretty damn good.
    Indy - stop whining bitch
AJ - anytime you want a cuddle you know who to call
Dover - can you get that far around?
Dave - I might end up buying you a couple in return
Hitcher - Post post not coital...

and the rest of you miscreant reprobates - CHEERS! I'm 'avin' a beer!
