Just found out that all Xr-1000 XXs to Medium have the same shell sizes.
The kagayama has 39mm cheek pads in so they can be replaced with 35mm or smaller for a medium fit. Retail on these pads are about $40

Well, Mrs KD tried the helmet but it was a little big for her. So I thought I would give it a go as my helmet is aging and getting a little loose.

Fitted perfectly, so bought it
