    Tool night -Fixing your bikes

I got to thinking some folk could do some of their own maintanence but dont have the confidence to get into it on their own
Imthinking a bit of a get together and we'll get stuck in --change some oil--fit new brake pads -fit a new chain n sprockets --whatever

    bike maintenance

sounds like a good idea, would like to try changing sprockets and change, adjust valve clearances etc but currently bike doesn't need any serious maintenance.Got one to practice on?

I just changed the rear brake pads on my bike.

I changed the front pads last week - piece of piss.

The rear brake was a bitch coz the exhaust system is one piece and would be a real fag to remove just to get to the brake caliper. All done now after much cursing and swearing. Now the rear wheel turns but it's rubbing a little...will it take long to settle in?
