    The definition of boredom.

I would rather watch a couple of hours of Dog Trials...

    Cool best movies

I liked 'lock stock and two smokin barrels' or something like that - there were a couple of them very similar, swordfish was cool as well.
I think I should've been horrified at the level of violence - but I must be a sad person - I enjoyed them.

I enjoyed the movie, most guys would never admit to it but I am secure in my masculinity. lol
Besides I think it has one of the best versions of 'Roxanne' I have ever heard.

yes, i LOVE the roxanne scene, where it's all dark and mixed in with ewan singing his "im going mad" song... I didnt like the movie at first either, i thought i was poo coz i didnt get what was going in, then i saw it again and LOVED it!! now, every time i watch it it grows on me more and more... I'm not usually a fan of such things, but this was just crazy enough to make me love it...

I think its a beautiful movie... bohemians rock my socks!!

    It is my fave movie!!!
I love all the songs... I love the story... and Ewan is HOT!!

First time I watched it I wasn't too keen either but now that I own it, and watch it a bit I like it even more

Agree on the Roxanne scene!! So want to be able to dance like that!!

I also love Chicago but not as much as Moulin Rouge!
I'm gonna make it so PC

What are everyone's thoughts on the movie "Moulin Rouge" with Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman??

Personally, I love the movie, possibly my favorite movie of all time...
Nicole and Ewan can actually sing... Its a tale of love, loss, drama, pizzaz!
Its all that and a bag of crazy, crazy chips!!

If you havn't seen it, i recommend you do.. (I am watching it now ^_^)
    Didn't like it.

But then there were no crashing aeroplanes, motorbikes, super cool slo-mo action or men in Navy uniforms in it so it was a lost cause right from the start! LOL

The only chick-flick I've ever really loved was 'Circle of Friends'

Well, I guess it's time for me to come clean on this score - I love all musicals and dancing numbers (gah!) At a young age I was amazed by the likes of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing up a storm, Gene Kelly singing in the rain and his awe-inspiring number he did with a newspaper on the floor, Dick Van Dyke in Chitty-chitty-bang-bang (what can you do with a bamboo stick). Heck, I even remember the muscial version of Oliver Twist "consider yourself, one of the family!"

Ahh good times, I even enjoy all the muscial numbers in Walt Disney animations ... heck any animation even, I'm a sentimental, nostalgic, naive fool who still innocently believes in the power of a good dance number and song to sweep me off my feet.

I do notice, I am the only male by himself in these movies when I view them!

The more modern ones I have enjoyed are just merely pale imitations on the glory that has gone before (I still enjoy them all though!)

And yes, I do go to the ballet, opera and such (the last few I watched was Dracula, La Traviata ... and I will be attending more to come!) - I still haven't been able to watch a live Gilbert and Sullivan's performance however!

So, do I like Moulin Rouge? But of course!

So... where do I hand in my man card?

Well shucks! I usually go to these events myself - I would gladly pay for another ticket if a charming lady would offer her arm for me to chaperone them to said event!

Unfortunately most of the ladies I know usually are bored stiff with these sorts of things

Well funny you should mention ... I'm intending to watch Fiddler on The Roof when it comes to Auckland in May!

I can imagine the look of people's faces when I turn up in my biker gear! I will be of course, wearing a full suit beneath it!

And these other selections of Dance positively makes me tap my feet!
