Temporarily, I have almost the same excuse. I do have two arms, but only one that I can use effectively. OAB, I salute you.

If I'm on the bike don't expect me to salute back. I also see you chose to use the 'twothumbsup' icon. You taking the micky?

Strange thing this obsession that bikers have for waving, when driving my car i dont wave at other car drivers, when mowing the lawns i have no urge to wave at others doing the same hell i dont even bother waving to other drinkers in a pub let alone others supping the same flavour as me.Will say though i used to way back before it became a crime not to.

Riders of British bikes - fearful that moving their hands away from the handlebars will momentarily shift their bodyweight, thus upsetting their Lucas wiring, which will cause their engine to cut out.

BMW Riders - Refer to Service Bulletin #2851

"While owners have reported many instances in which the wave is successful, you should be aware that this action - particularly if attempted by a someone other than a competent BMW mechanic - may decrease performance or cause damage to your motorcycle."

The beauty of a head tilt (and riding a naked bike)! If they dont respond Ya just keep twitching the head and blame the wind !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Like, do you go to the pub and wave to all the drinkers that are drinking the same beer as you?

That little suggestion has cured me from the waving habit, ride on, get over it! John.
