    KB social intercourse.

Had a good weekend. Went to a fairly prominant KBers birthday party on Saturday night and bumped into Dover and Vixter (and ex bump) and Fishy. Had a few beers and a bit of a laugh. Went up to Puhoi today and bumped into Maha and Mrs Maha. Had a pint and a bit of chin wag there too. Reminds me of the saying 'Nothing like the real thing' being appliccble to meeting people in person rather than on a forum. After actually meeting the famous Scumdog, eating a rabbit with him, we discovered him to be a top bloke too. So there must be more out there. Perhaps a few KB social get togethers (on the bikes of course) over winter could be a good idea...?
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

Agree completely about the Winter get-together-thingy...

Yep - good to see ya Maha/Mom - was an unscheduled Cycletreads visit thanks to a puncture between Autobahn Papakura and the Drury offramp.
Cheers to Terbang for zooming out with the repair kit (only to find one of his daughters had been using up all the Rubber Vulcaniser in his repair kit!)

Made what turned out to be a good makeshift repair to the rear tyre, so I toodled up the motorway with Nigel (on his Busa) in tow - to keep an eye on the tyre

End result was a new pair of Metzler (sp?) M3's that needed scrubbing in, so Puhoi looked like the logical destination...
Its clear to me that Terbang simply loves that Cagiva

Cant quite believe I have 12000K on the Bandit since new in December...
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

a winter gathering sounds groovy. Be nice to have a ride, venue with munchies & much talking crap with fellow riders.

Anyone got suggestions on a venue, or something more informal (park & someone provides BBQ & donations made to cover sausages etc, byo drink?).

    Anyway hope something gets organised.
