No gloves? Riding through a stop sign? You're a madman! How many runs did you do through there?

That's the great thing about Wellywood - plenty of downhill madness for those who need their adrenaline fix before brekkie!

Now, where's the skateboard/inline skates vid?

Hehe i didnt know better back then.
Ive done all the hills in lower hutt including waniuiamata at least a couple times each, used to do it with a mate!
We actually made a map and put what are top speeds were going down there, i got 74kmh down kelson remember these are mountain bikes with tho.
My favourate hill has to be KoroKoro to go down via pushbike, nice long wide corners no braking needed !.
However i did once go wide and had to jump on to the footpath at 50+ kmh once that was scary.
Good old fun !, the hard part was getting up there.

Sweet looks like fun. I hada good spill coming down mt vic like that just wearing shorts a few years ago. Had the bike cranked right over at 50+ coming round a corner and there was a bus coming up the hill in my lane. Instinctively tapped the brakes and it was all over, lowsided into the side of the bus! Real glad I had gloves on though, they got worn all the way thru but my fingers were intact. Looked like a bit of a burns victim with the amount of skin I lost off my leg and arm from sliding along the road at that speed though!

Its cycling that that which annoys me a bit, well done though.

One minor observation if I may? Why put the camera between your legs??? It was kinda creepy

Now THAT was cool. Cranking it on a bit on a couple of those corners and one, maybe two, very nicely done flip-flops
