good point. On the other hand there are alot of reposts saying repost. for what is is worth can you do a search on the number of posts that have the word "repost" in them. Would be an interesting percentage wouldn't you think?

So I thought I would conduct a small experiment and try find an original post of this video (I am pretty sure I have seen it here before)

I searched the following:
Safety video
Speed video
Speeding video
Policy road safety (the name of the video)

Nada, zip, nothing.

I searched video but who is going to look through 2596 posts to check if this video has been posted before.

So it all comes down to the person that starts the thread and the wording they use, as to how many people will find the thread when doing a search.

If I had my way, posts that say a thread is a repost should be automatically deleted. If you open something that you have read before just move on.

End rant.
