Was anyone here at the Buckets down at Tawa?

Hey, I went along to the bucket racing/motard today, and I was wondering if any kiwibikers were there. Were there? Speak up!

I was supposed to be but wimped out and stayed at home. It's was absolutely bucketing down ('scuse the pun) so I flagged it.

I thought about going but didn't cos it was cold and wet. Went to the top of the hill instead (in the car I hasten to add!!). About 1/2 a metre of snow at the summit, looked cold as. Every man and his dog was parked whereever they could making snowmen (should that be "snowpersons" in this PC world?) and having snow fights.

Yeah thanks, um I did ok, well I kicked bottom! Both classes once I got confidence up in the rain.

Bayden rode my H100 in the pouring rain & loved it, managed not to crash it either!

If youse guys show up do wander around & introduce yourselves, people may appear to be focused on what they are doing but will always have the time to chat & the organisers will always have time to put on a newbies tryout session.

Weather wasn't exactly appealing till later.
Don't you look at my accountant.

    When projects go bad.

Well running gear aside (skinny 18” wheels ex MB50) who can tell if that frame would fit an engine (absence of decent mounts) & if they only got this far what’s to say the chain lines up with anything besides the fact it seems tall enough to motocross & spindly enough to flex/crack.

Bargepole a touch wouldn’t it with

I have to agree with Dave on that one, It's way too tall and mb50 wheels are not good handling wise believe me!
