DC is fun as well. But standard BF1942 rocks for the air combat.

Awesome stuff, how about we line it up for Tuesdays, starting the 24th April (next week) at Topgun@Net, i will post server details on here for those interested in joining in from other locations? Perhaps someone could arrange a meetup in Wellywood and maybe CHCH too if people are keen down those ways.

Topgun has CS 1.5 and CS Source loaded and working so thats not a problem if there is the desire to change from BF1942. I will have a couple of mates along to help boost numbers, one is on KB but doesnt post.

I guess we will have to use screen names as game names to keep things simple.

For those that dont know where topgun is, go to link drive in wairau park, go to the end of link drive and you will come up to a roundabout with BK on the left, turn left and go past the entrance to BK, the second entrance is the carpark where Topgun is.

I would be keen. Would prefer CSS as I haven't played battlefield yet...but would be keen to give it a shot too.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

BF's slower, more tactical, less `twitchy reactions'. But there's much more variety, which is cool. And if you get really bored, you can go and play with jeeps (running over people is a laugh), or chuck explosives into a transport and hide while waiting for somebody to hop in...

all good guys. I play under many different names, but usually only play on LAN against mates. Played on NZ servers as bojangles_nz once or twice.

Brett, you should enjoy BF1942, vietnam is better because it has helo's aswell which are damn good fun. But CSS is available there too.

Yep -- Mangere Bridge is crowded with internet cafes. All the young illiterate school kids are mad keen on writing emails and reading wikipedia.

Nah, nothing really within hobbling range haha. Next time, then -- I feel my geekiness slipping away, PWN by PWN.
