It depends whether you are talking not aging or immortality.... I'd be happy with not aging....

Firestormer, if it was not aging, surely you could spend as long as you like trying to find what you really want to do.... Eventually you could enjoy it if you want to. Also, you'd probably have a different perspective on time - imagine an ant - short lived creature probably sees time passing slower than we do... The reverse might apply to you

I think that I would get bored shitless with immortality. Eternity is a very long time. Even if I had unlimited time I don't think I could ever learn to play the piano...

OK, here seems as good a place as any...

Yeah I'm with you on that Handbrake.

There was that (bad) movie that Robin Williams was in where he was a robot who eventually became human over hundreds of years (can't remember the name of the movie) - it kinda made me think that having a physical body that goes on forever wouldn't be so cool.

BUT! If I could live stay the age I am now though I'd be happy with that. I think I'm finally starting to get a handle on life!

Yes. I'm being a smarty pants. Cos that scenario seems to depict the christian going to heaven thing- seems boring to me. Personally I wouldn't mind living here on earth forever (when its all lovely and cleaned up, that is)

Even if it was just living in heaven or on the earth it will not be boring (you're thinking in the wrong dimension). I don't believe that's all there is to it though...there is MUCH more.

Mainly, I'm looking forward to no more sickness or dying, no more sin, and living in...yes you guessed it - perfect peace & harmony with others!

Geez, for a post that started off with a few funny quotes, this has suddenly come over all metaphysical...

First impressions tell me that it's ACDC electrcity vs. Genesis 1:3. No idea who coined your phrase though?
