    Occam's Razor.

Engaging one's brain before applying the razor is a good idea, though, lest one have a nasty sharp-edged philosophical accident.

    Mere chocolate fish?

    Now that's blasphemous.

    All hail the chocolate fish!

    Living forever?
Well that would mean my 1979 XR250 would be getting close to perfection with the little adjustments over the years and people with old european bikes would have finally found out how to get them to stop leaking oil

No, it all makes perfect sense if you've read Asimov's short story, 'The Last Question'.

The full text is available at http://www.aronson.co.il/adin/TheLastQ.htm. A highly recommended read.

[Edit: Of course, if you *haven't* read it, my signature rather spoils the story. Perhaps I'll change it.]
Hey this is a great story.

    Where`s the hypocrisy?
And far from telling you to keep your mouth shut I`ve continually asked you to explain the things you say, as have others, which you fail to do. I`m just pointing out that you were given a place to discuss your beliefs, you`ve run away from that yet still keep spouting off in un-related threads.I`ll debate anything you`ve got to say relevent to your beliefs in the right place.

moko, you said to me: "still hijack other threads with your rants about your beliefs?"

then you proceed to rant about your beliefs by saying "Back to the original subject, I dont know about living forever but being continually reincarnated with a clear recollection of your past lives "

So basically, I cannot make comments about my beliefs on a thread titled "If you could live forever, would you want to, and why?" but you can?

Hence why I call you an hypocrite!
