    Quasimoto one-piece

Well, I had a browse through, and couldn't find a review on them, so I figured I'd do one.

My swanky lookin new suit arrived yesterday, much to my delight. After I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning, I was well happy with how they look. As I looked over it, I was very impressed with the quality of the gear. No gaps in the stitching, or any other visable defects, (which were quite easy to see on the other brands of leathers I've got).
Time to see if they fit, as I didn't have them made for me, they were just surplus stock he had, and they are excelent around the top half, I got a discount, as the guy who had originally bought them, had complained they were too baggy around the legs, so I was a bit worried it might be a problem. They are loose from the waste down, but I figured the best way to see how they'd be, was to go for a hoon with them on. As soon as I got on the bike, they felt better than anything I've worn in the past.

Head for the Rimutaka hill, to give the bike a good push on the twisties, and the extra room in the legs, proved to be a god send. I was able to move from side to side on my old GIXXER with incredable ease, but the excess seems not to flap in the wind at all. I've had issues trying to move freely wearing anything but jeans since I started to get my arse hangin over the side of the bike, much to the frowning of onlookers, ("you obviously dont care if you get hurt when you fall off").

I'm undecided on the steel zipper on them, in the interest of safety, it's gotta be stronger, but it will scratch the tank if ya dont have a tank protector. But I think you can order them with plastic or steel. (Info here please quasi)

To sum up, in my opinion, these are as good as anything I've seen on the shelf and tried on, and streaks ahead of what I've worn in the past.

Well done Quasi, these are the shit

I still might, I'll just wait for it to sit there long enough for him to accept my original offer

Good to see a review Drew. Glad you like yours - I'm looking forward to mine arriving!

Have you got a pic to show us what they look like?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Nice review man...
There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there? -Clerks
