It's obviously a derivative from the powered spinning disc ports (windows) used in shipping.

There are usually two or three placed strategically around the bridge on ships.

Most small launches have one too.

They work OK and can be seen through clearly, don't know about that wee helmet attachment though!

Must do something for some one to go to that much trouble.

Looks a bit dodgy for a bike. John.
