    New Bike! Bye Bye GN.

Well I went and test rode some bikes today. Before I set out over the hill, I had a red GT250 in my head as the bike I would probably buy at the end of the day. (Mainly cause I liked the look, and it was red!) .Test rode a GT250 first (a nice one was at WMCC too), it was nice, kept slipping off the seat though, boy were they polished!!! I liked it... I cant even list the many reasons it is so different to a GN. Cant compare, there is no way I could go from a GN to a 600cc or 1000cc bike that I had been planning to do.

Anyway next was a GSF 250 Bandit. The revving scared the life out of me, but I was told not to worry, revving is totally normal, and no the bike wont blow up! So away I went, just up and down the street at first. Wow.. did a whole street in 2nd gear.. unheard of in a GN. Then I took it on the motorway... heehee that was so fun. If you have ever riden a GN as your first bike, you will understand my excitment!! Very noisy bike, will have to wear ear plugs all the time, someone suggested I even get rid of the baffle so its noiser...!!

Anyway I pick up the bandit on Thur or Friday.. prob Friday. Cant wait!! I still have heaps to learn.. and cant wait to start learning.

    Thanks for the help Seany

Looking forward to seeing you on it soon.

    Thanks guys.

Getting it from TSS... Great guys!

Yep as I said, totally different from a GN. Is going to be fun getting the feel for the bike, and riding around the rapa on it.

    Good stuff

The average speed of a Rapa-rider just went up by about 20km/h...

Excellent. You'll enjoy it!! Just take it easy for the first few hundred km/s though. The GN and the Bandit are worlds apart... Now you can experience leaning right over and know how damn exciting it is!

    Have fun!
