Tyres again

Well sport touring tyres just won't do. The avon azaro's i have have an interesting front profile and they don't inspire incredable amounts of confidence. So i was looking at some diablos or even the azaro sport tyre for the front. But i have no cash so how much can an almost new avon azaro sport touring tyre sell for. Got the rear as well and it's in pretty good nick so might sell as a pair but i am not sure. Or i could just not push it and ride the tyres out for the next wee while. So what is your guys advice????

Sell the tyres, and get some new ones....... asko for like $400, and say that they have been scrubbed in, but you want to race your 400 so need stickier tyres....

well all you have said is true. These tyres are pretty good in the wet but in the dry the front is pretty pants(doesn't roll quick enough). So looking to either just change front or change both (more to pirelli just for preferance)

We have a couple of sale left overs that might suit, Dunlop D207GP @ $150.00 or D208F @ $168.00. Both are 120/60-17's.

120/60/17 on the front and 160/60/17 on the back. As to the dunlops well i would have to change the rear as well. else i might have trouble in the wet.

I've an Azaro AV49-SP (sport) on the front, and it's very good. I dunno how much it is on its own, as I had the tyres fitted at the same time as I had some brake lines fitted and other work done, but I'd imagine it was over $200 (it was just over $500 for the pair fitted).

how is that sport. That was my other option sell the sport touring front (which is almost new) and get a sport put on. I am used to pirelli mtro1's on the front (of the 250) and so these tyres feel a bit to sluggish when dipping in for my tastes(not very comforting when you miss the apex cause it dips slowly)

Yo aff - do you wana freebie? You can have the Rennie RS1 front that I have on my bike right now for free. Sides are pretty fucked for racing but they should give you more than enough stick for the road for your 400. The middle is still warrentable I think.

These are the tires that enables you to do a rolling stoppie when it's raining!

None of that nonsense - it tips in very readily, and is very light steering. The profile is very, ummm... - sporty!
It feels a lot like the Bridgestone BT012F I had on my VFR.
