You asked "How is that sport?". I presumed you meant, "How is that Azaro sport tyre?
The photo was of the Azaro AV49-SP to show you the profile. The profile (not tread pattern) is very similar to the BT012, and feels the same (quick tip-in, plenty of side grip, light steering).
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

It feels a lot like the Bridgestone BT012F I had on my VFR.
This sounded like you were talking about the sport touring tyre i have. Yip i had a thread on the tyres a while ago an no-one had anything bad to say about the avon azaro sport tyre hence me looking at getting one. Does anyone know what the price is on one of them?? a 120/60/17

    Yeah I do.

    Would you like to know?

$245 fitted, but you could prolly negotiate a cheaper price.
Or you could buy my bike, which comes with one (fitted) for free....

what do you think of those bt012 on ya firestorm i thinking of putting 014's on the wife, her bike after 12000kms needs a new rear, still factory so its either replace rear with something that matches front(factory 204) or replace it with the front of my bike which is coming off in 1 1/2 weeks time.

Both the rears are around same price.

Dunno. I've only ridden a VFR with the Bridgestones on (BT012 front, BT020 rear), and it were mega. The BT014 is, I believe, the replacement for the BT012, so it should be good. Better'n the BT010 anyways.
I could find out for you on the UK FireStorm list.....

not bad... but they won't provide super levels of grip like a supersports tyre so it just depends on what you want.

Aff-man, remember that a 400 probably wont be quite so responsive and flickable as a 250... Sounds like it should be better than it is though....

Yeh i know but that is why i went fot the 400 over a bigger bike. The sport tourer tyre behaves itself and grips really well but it feels like the profile is making it harder to flick over and i know it won't be as good as the 250 but man it's gotta be better than this.

same old - Diablo's, M1's, 012's, 208's etc. All comes down to personal preference and the set up of the bike (and what it can fit). Bang for your buck - you can't go past the M1's.
