I may get up to Otaki with karmerkillernz tomorrow, ( weather dependant of course) as there is meant to be a "Show what you ride" display there from 10am at the Railway Hotel Arthur Street. Says a display of motorcycles & Cars. with Raffles and sausage sizzle. $2 entry.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

Well Nasty & I (and a bunch of others I imagine) will be at Manfield for Round 4 of the Nationals. That would be a most excellent ride for a TCSMR group ... up to Fielding, get there about 1 for lunch, a couple of hours race-viewing and back home again.

I've been doing a bit of road exploring, being a hater of State Highways, this would be a great route. Distance 189km.

By comparison if you did go straight there via SH2, 178km. Or worse, via SH1, 137km.

No one else at Rimutex at 1030 so went for a solo ride over Haywards, around the estuary and back. No rain, minimal traffic, well worth the effort.

Becoming fine. Northwest easing. Late rain, southerly.
Same for Paraparaumu. Masterton "Showers early morning and night." I'm thinking over the Haywards, right around the estuary, Paekakariki hill then coffee/lunch in Raumati/Pram. Cruisy pace - newbie friendly.

So who's up for a ride tomorrow?
