Yeah I went up to Masterton. The weather was hot sunny and clear-sky.

Something was up in Masterton though; so many mullets. It was majestic..

Right on Mel. We had a brilliant day almost too hot to be dressed up like a snowman.

One thing about the memorial ride being so great was doing it so early, gave us time to head home at a reasonable time to do stuff in the afternoon. If you ever want to do the rides earlier... I would be keen. Just an idea, thats all.

Hi Mel do your youngsters make sure you don't get to enjoy sleeping in on the weekends? The only one I have left at home now doesn't get up until late afternoon in the weekends - he lives in a different timezone.
    Cheers

We ran a poll earlier and the majority voted on 10 am .. which is earlier than it used to be and I can still sleep till 8.

Wasn't only different was a great road to learn on .. stuff you get there you can't find on other roads:
    Narrow windy
Cars passing and approaching on narrow enough for one bike roads
    pea metal and no warnings
    road works and no warnings
heads in the clouds .. or is that clouds at head level
Rekeiorangi Cafe - great food and great scones

    Bump...

I'm hoping to be there this week. Fingers crossed for some nice weather.
(It kills me to say it, but Kapiti looks like having the worst weather in the region on Sunday! Although, what do those forecasters really know, eh Sels?! )

Sun 13 Fine apart from a few coastal showers. Southwesterlies easing.

Makes you wonder what a few coastal showers means.

My brain just put the "Ride on Sunday" and "Mother's Day" thoughts into my consciousness at the same time... CLASH! Mother's Day is going to be the winner. Next week perhaps...
