i was in the same boat, put it off for ages. now i wish i hadnt. youll find you will be up and down your gears a bit more than the bigger bikes but its all good.

Kazza the others have already covered it off. You will be fine.
Dont get too hooked up on the pace thing as its not an issue to anybody else.
Im sure you will find that you will end up with at least one bike travelling with you.
If Im there Im happy for you to set the pace & I would ride with you if you like. As long as its not too fast cause Im a law abiding citizen
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

I am with you guys, no worries for a newbie on a low cc bike. I am on my 150 and go regularly - first ride with the group was just my 3rd time on the bike. We wont leave you behind, and you can set your own pace. Anyway Nasty and I tend to be the ones at the back and Wanabiker would never hear the end of it if he lost me (again).

What every one else said. I'm on my learners, a 250. I'm pretty slow but there is always some one behind me being Tail End Charlie... its fun, and crusiey.. give it go.

Since when have you been slow Lissa? Oh yeah! It's normally when your bike is in the shop. Have you got that bike sorted out yet?
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Umm bike not sorted yet.. but tomorrow a wonderful helpful KBer is going to put a new battery in for me, so I am very hopeful that will get it going. KB Rocks!!!!

Well the weather's going to be kind and not rain. Light southerlies on both sides of the hill. Not sure where we're off to yet but both Ngawi and Palmy sound like good ideas, but then so does just staying in the 'rapa. Depends how everyone feels in the morning.

Have been adjusting stuff on the bike, be interesting to see what it feels like so it'll be a nice cruisy ride, 150's and 250's will be right in their element.

I see the TV forecast for tomorrow is better than they said last night but I did the ride with BB#1 today thinking the weather would be better and mainly because my daughter is home from Uni for the weekend so I'll catch up with her and miss the ride tomorrow. No worries today because her and my son went out to a gig in town last night and didn't surface out of bed until well after I was home off the ride.

So have fun without me tomorrow - enjoy the ride. Glad to hear you are back in action Grub.
    Cheers

    Merv
