If you're not living on the edge you're not leaning over far enough
So is it worth me turning up?
Seems if everyone thinking about it turns up itll be fine.
Bah I cant be bothered getting up at 9 on a Sunday. Too many days where I cant sleep in lately.
Have fun anyone who turns up. Might see you out later in the day
I may get up to Otaki with karmerkillernz tomorrow, ( weather dependant of course) as there is meant to be a "Show what you ride" display there from 10am at the Railway Hotel Arthur Street. Says a display of motorcycles & Cars. with Raffles and sausage sizzle. $2 entry.![]()
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.
Did this happen yesterday? me n a mate showed up at mana etc around 10ish and hung around for a bit but no1 showed![]()
Hope you went for a ride anyway, we left at 9, Pahiatua track out at Balance, over the saddle, back thru the gorge, thru balance agin, back onto the track, Mangamaire & home - nice quite ride.

Right anyone who is up for a ride this coming Sunday...?
Thinking about a jaunt - if the weather is kind enough...
Castlepoint or Lake Ferry.......Castlepoint or Lake Ferry.....Hmmmmmmm
Tough choice....
Have a think about this one and if anyone is interested - usual meet place and usual time - 10:00am for 10:30am Dep Rimutex.......![]()
Well Nasty & I (and a bunch of others I imagine) will be at Manfield for Round 4 of the Nationals. That would be a most excellent ride for a TCSMR group ... up to Fielding, get there about 1 for lunch, a couple of hours race-viewing and back home again.
I've been doing a bit of road exploring, being a hater of State Highways, this would be a great route. Distance 189km.
By comparison if you did go straight there via SH2, 178km. Or worse, via SH1, 137km.
The weather forecast isn't encouraging for a ride any where.
Here for the ride.
Looks like no rain until 1.00pm onwards.
rainmap
Here for the ride.
Rain dont look too far off here at Raumati though...
Prolly stay in and do a service on the bike instead

No one else at Rimutex at 1030 so went for a solo ride over Haywards, around the estuary and back. No rain, minimal traffic, well worth the effort.
Same for Paraparaumu. Masterton "Showers early morning and night." I'm thinking over the Haywards, right around the estuary, Paekakariki hill then coffee/lunch in Raumati/Pram. Cruisy pace - newbie friendly.Originally Posted by MetService
