Awesome. By the way, I suggest advertising your VFR as a VFR on trademe, not a Suzuki Bandit, might make it sell quicker

I think coyote must have to do a lot to redeem his chances of gaining membership.

An act such as purchasing a legendary nc30 (like mine) will greatly enchance chances of membership.

I have been searching for suitable rocks to throw at "The Stoning" which will commence fairly soon. The only problem is that I can only find those smooth ornamental ones. I really need to aquire some nasty, sharp volcanic-type ones... much better for pain infliction...

    "When do VFR's die"?
The only chance of that happening is when a gsxr rider does his normal thing and crashes in a corner. Even then, a nut and bolt might be recovered intact and replacement parts can be ordered and the mighty VFR, REBUILT to ride again!!!!!!!

    ARRGH!!

    Get the VFR!!

Its a good tidy bike. The RVF that you want is a crashed bike!!

you're paying so much more for a stupid label and newer fairings!! and you want to change them anyway!!!

Comon man this is just getting grueling!!

Snap. Far and away the best VFR motor, much stronger and characterful than the later ones too. Shame about the rear shock tho'

Yeah - well I haven't ridden it enough to find out. At the moment I have the carbs off and have reset the floats and given them a clean. Now have to stick them back on and go and get it recomplianced. I can then ride it and see if I like it as much as I did originally. Then I have to paint and install the L/hand fairing(there is a reason why the photo is of the right hand side)

Anyway for me the pre-Vtec 800 floats my boat. Stuck a Power Commander II on the 800 at the weekend (are you there Ian?) and it seems to run a lot smoother. If I can ever get on top of the other work I can maybe do a few more jobs(Scottoiler,Pair valves, plugs) and get a decent dyno tune

Never made it to "sign the Flaf"

OK - who wants to organise a V4 ride....s'pose we "could" let lesser bikes come along for the trip?
Westgate/Coatesville/Wenderholm/Albany(for a Pub Lunch) does it for me

im thinking of doing a 22 run to raglan at somepoint...

Yeah...well I'm thinking maybe some others want something that is not quite so "frantic" Doesn't have to be that run if somebody knows some other rides that can cover about 2/3 hours

I want to do the Raglan run too but don't have the time to go that far for the next few weekends but I need to get out on the bike for something other than commuting

    No, I'm not.

Obviously the install went OK then?
Didja use the map I left on there, or another one?
There's some really exciting ones that make the FI light flash and the bike behave like a real bastid. Strangely, the ones that looked closest to my bike's setup were the worst, but the Urpeen ones seemed good.

I'm in for a ride sometime. Maybe we can take the Flaf out and show it a good time....
Must get a green permanent marker and some sorta Kiwi badge (I was after a KB one, but haven't yet got hold of SpankyMe to buy one). Anyone like to donate one?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Bit too "clockwork" the later ones...plus they got less power and more weight. Mine is still cosmetically damaged since a local f$ckwit pulled out infront of me in Feb. Motivating myself to get the forks done and get it WOF'd again. Must ask witness to accident to send letter again so I can take the f$ckwit to small claims court.

Now the real question is why can't honda make a CBR with a viffer motor in it? A modern VFR1000, yum.
