    It was a genetic accident...............?

Literally, a befalling; an event that takes place without one's foresight or expectation; an undesigned, sudden, and unexpected event; chance; contingency; often, an undesigned and unforeseen occurrence of an afflictive or unfortunate character; a casualty; a mishap; as, to die by an accident.

So based on this why does a Drunk Driver get covered by ACC.

I'm not completely knocking ACC. We had NHS back home which is same idea. However, the personal lack of responsability and attitude to safety over here is a bit lacking now as a result.

Yeah definitely very true. I was unlucky, had all possible safety gear on... But I know many people who are very blase´ about safety when it comes to work and it isnt good. Those are the people who waste acc's resources!
