    Spring rate

    Just scored myself a second hand ohlins rear shock, The current spring is 7.5, anyone have any idea what sorta weight this spring is for.

    hmmmmm 191 kgs looks little heavy for spring for a rider, unless some real fat guy was racing a gsxr 600.

    Just talked to Robert Taylor here Ohlins "Yoda" . I knew this anyways but just checked to be sure , the 7.5 or 75 on the spring is its rating number & that one you have would be good for a 50-65 kg person so bloody light weight as Robert put it so it will be to soft unless you weigh that much . Hope this helps if not just give him a PH 062784160 & he should have a secondhand one to exchange it with . Tell him Scott sent you & he'll see ya right !!

    ahhh sweet sensei, yeah i did some spring rate testing side, and i though site was wrong (since its the racetech site), but

    Sweet, i planning on getting the shock serviced and what not before it goes on the bike anyway. and need to know if needs a new spring or not to suit me.

    well i like to meet someone who can hold up a gsxr 600, who weights 25kgs since bike is 166kgs dry, so that only leaves 25kgs but i get the drift.
