    Hunting around Wellington

Any hunters around? I'm wanting to head out for a deer hunt one of these weekends, and was wondering if you have suggestions where to go...

I'm thinking somewhere in the Aorangis... Where around Wellington have people been (to hunt, obviously ) ?

Aorangi is good but so are the Tararua, Akatarawa, and Rimutaka ranges. The fuckers are everywhere! Got a 4x4 by any chance?

Surely the best hunting spot for large, useless, potentially tasty animals... would have to be the beehive?

But there's a bag limit and you can't use decoys.

I like the way you are thinking!

What do we do with Parekura Horomia? Do we need more hunters to allow for his girth?

If the pollies were smart, they'd all hide behind him. They'd just have to watch out for his orbiting moons.

Have a colleague who got jumped by 6 guys about 2am Sunday morning on Kent Terrace, ended up in hospital, losing teeth etc... Now, that's fair game (the 6 low-lifes, I mean), any volunteers for bait?
