Returning bikenut, now back in the saddle (jaycee)

Hi y'all, weathers crappo so a chance to get online. Had a test ride on a rather nice Suzi SV1000S a couple of weeks back, and since returning it have spent the time doing the 'whys and wherefores' in the mind. 'Twas my birthday a few days back, rang home from work (as I usually do) mid-afternoon and was asked 'any plans for after work?'. My response along the lines of; 'umm, why dat?'. Reply back from her indoors; 'well, that bike you rode, I've bought it for you!' Duh, stunned mullet, and one lucky chap! Anyways, bit of a surprise, with the result being a new steed in the garage. Photo attached...
And yes, I did spend a couple of hours Sat morn, armed with a fistful of cleaning products, giving the 'girl' a wash 'n' polish. I'm happy...
Take care out there team, with the weather turning to custard and all that jazz..

I know she was nice buying the bike for you but did you bother cleaning the bike as well?

Them SVs are nice bikes right enough - I'm a bit partial to the sound of a V-twin myself.

Welcome to KB - we're mostly nuts but mainly harmless.

    Enjoy.

Hmmm I might try that trick myself,I have a birthday comming up in July,it would make a nice change from the bottle of Southern comfort and the giant bar of chocolate I usually recieve every year (not that I'm ungrateful you understand)
Maybe I'll be a bit cryptic and start leaving the numbers 675 lying around for starters !!!!

Nice. Do the tail-tidy thing and she'll be perfect.
Welcome back to biking and to these hallowed halls.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Crikey! That's a keeper that one (your wife or the bike!) Nice way to get back into the joys of happy biking down those lanes of freedom - I guess you get to go shopping for bike bling and looking at bike porn products!
