Draggin Jeans

Hey people,
I was looking into buying some Draggin' Jeans but thought i'd get the opinion of you lot first.
They are very stylie both in the jeans and cargo/combat pants and both sport Kevlar liners in the places you need them (hips, knees etc).

At $280 for the jeans and $250 for the combat pants they aint exactly cheap but a lot cheaper than a skin graph..

Your thoughts would be muchly appreciated.

Theres a heap of info already on here if you search for draggin on the forum. I wear em, hear only good things about em, modified em by sticking some pockets into the knees to hold some knox knee pads.

I've had my Draggin Jeans for a few months now... Bloody great pants... warm as hell (handy in winter) and good quality. I binned in mine a few months ago... my leather jacket has big scuffs on it, the jeans... not a fibre out of place... awesome!

Yep, got molten red draggin' jeans and I love the feel of them - I bought oversized ones so I could wear them over my clothes!

May consider getting the "normal" ones so I don't alarm non-bikers with my Cobra Command ninja look!

Bought a pair of Draggin' urban camos just after I bought my bike. Also bought the knee armour. Really comfy except they feel a little short in length when on the bike... this could be due to the knee pads.

Bought a pair of the Draggin' Dry denims a couple of weeks ago. These are really comfortable and I can wear them all day. They were $279 at Cycletreads in Taka.

What do you mean by knee-armour and where did you get it and how much?

I have had mine a year now, and as im a daily rider use them everyday...

They began to fade and look a bit shabby, so I went and bought some fabric dye and dyed them. They look great again! I was worried what the dye would do to the kevlar inner, but it stayed bright yellow. The only changes being the insides of the pockets (which were white) are now blue.

No need to throw away and spend all the buckaroonees on a new pair!

I bought my knee armour from their website (http://www.dragginjeans.com.au/produ...r/kneeShin.htm) they simply velcro into the inside of the jeans where you need them - might be useful for the initial impact, but guess they would move about if you were sliding down the road

ahhh ok... I usually only wear my draggins when commuting... I wonder if they would be a worthwhile investment

Oi! You!. I'm a daily draggin wearer too and my blue ones are terribly faded. What dye did you use?

Just went to the fabric shop on lincoln road next to that bbq place. They have two kinds - hand wash or machine wash. The hand wash dye was colourfast so I chose that one.

You simply add it to hot water and add heaps of salt (i had to go buy a bag, you need that much) then leave it soaking for an hour or so... chuck it in the machine and your done!

Wear gloves...

Oh and dont wear them in the rain right after dying them... YOU WILL LOOK LIKE SMURF! *ahem*

Hah, this one time, at band camp (err...), the drummer in our old band got new smurf blue bed sheets...and slept in them without washing them first.
THAT was funny.

oh dear!!! lol

....just smurf blue legs after an unexpected downpour.... was not nice. The hair is still blue.

Was only about $5 for the dye. So cheap as chips.
