    Best bodykit for MC22?

I have an MC22 with extremely low km’s on it – I think the bodywork/colour looks rubbish so am thinking of changing it to help with re-sale…question is, do I go for a nice Tyga kit in fibreglass (unpainted) or get an ABS plastic set painted from overseas. Tyga obviously looks much sharper, but I’ll need to get it painted and it is fibreglass. Overseas kit (probably repsol) is standard looking kit but is painted (except tank) and in ABS plastic.

Supposing they both cost the same – which is going to have better re-sale?

Too bad I have an MC19.

Yes they do look great...but is anyone likely to pay extra for a bike with a TYGA kit on it compared with a nice normal kit (or vice versa)?

And how much extra? $6500? for TYGA kit compared with $5500 for normal?

I wouldn't count on getting more, but it will be easier to sell. I bring these kits in if you're interested. It's just a top fairing that bolts on to stock lower fairings. I think there's another trader that does plastic fairings with custom paint too. But they're stock style.

Fiberglass is a shit load better than plastic.

Just save your money wildcat, and do what you can with what you got.

    That's what I'd do.
