Cheers, time to join the community (Puddlejumper)

Hi all, been reading KB for awhile, thought I should join up. Hopefully make some contacts for a few trips ex Chch. Been riding since 66, cept for a cple of years early 2k's. Got a bandit 1200 which I am exchanging for a 1255 next week. Only used the car 7 times in last 2 years so its for sale. Enjoying reading the forums. Love the different opinions and ahem robust discussion.

    Thumbs up bandit

    Hi - welcome to KB,
I've got a bandit 1200 - I was wondering if you'd keep us updated on the new modle and what the improvements are.
My bandit lacks ground clearance - I scrape the pegs a lot and when I shift my wieght off the side a bit to keep the bike up right a bit more - it scrappes the centre stand.
Wondering if you have the same issues, and if the new model is better.
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on

Welcome to the madness of KB, you should enjoy yourself.
Gotta say I love the new model Bandits, the reviews are all positive and encouraging, I must take one for a test ride someday.

I was there!! 1966, RNZAF Wigram. Always rode after dark so the cops couldn't see me. lol. Nice to ride a bike back then - not too many cars on the road, and most drivers were scared to go faster than me. Well, that's my story.

Welcome to the nuthouse. Just keep an eye on the meetings forum for any local meets/rides & join in. The local riders are a real mix but good value so don't be shy!
    See you around
