Mate, if you can take 'em off, then do. Duct tape is a better plan for the speedo, stops you staring in curiosity. You want as few distractions as possible, and to ride to the course and engine/handling.
I can help you with the road riding now and again, but we've got rellies in at the minute. Once they're gone, I'm more than willing to join you for a run out, advice or a chat, whichever you prefer.
You must remeber that I'm a new plastic kiwi though, so some bits are still new to me (hence my recent ticketing.).

Whats the deal with backpacks? I have a new GPS unit that logs to a laptop that I was hoping to take to the track,

I was thinking of taking an old laptop in the backpack. wrap it up in plastic so if it hits the road it doesn't leave bits lying about etc.

If not I will mount a mini-pc under the seat or something
I only posted this because of the global economic crisis

Plugz 4 Lugz........ Custom made earplugs

............ the change of date has created a huge hiccup for us to attend this event. However, are there any riders who have been trying to catch up for some custom made earplugs going to be in Taupo on the Saturday? I am more than happy to meet up with riders on my return from Manfeild (if the weather permits me to make that distance, otherwise I'll just attend a venue arranged in Taupo). Please let me know so I can arrange my schedule. (On the 28th I'll be in Tauranga). Cheers Sue 027 659 1583

Some more from Taranaki!! Hell yeah. Now if only my Ute will come back from the damn shop where its been for about 6 months, then I can take my bike up, otherwise I'll just ride up and get a sore bum cause of hard suspension. lol.
