Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

I've done a fair few track days in the last couple of years and have to say that yesterday's was was up there with the best. Everything was well organised, having enough people doing registrations, scrutineering, and even a guy letting us on the track one by one!! Thank you Frosty and all the helpers who made the day possible. DEFINITELY answered any grumblings from last time, and then some!!! Well done!!
Having done two trackdays in the previous two days you'd think we'd had enough, but KB trackdays are special occasions, and it was good to catch up with some KB'ers who I hadn't seen in a while. Even better to get out on track with some of the old crew again. Had a bit of fun with Eddy in one session until a bird decided to walk across the track three quarters on the way down the main straight!! That was exciting!! Also had a good dice with a yellow gixxer, Kornholio I think??? in the second to last session. Couldn't get past anywhere on the infield, got blown away on the straight, only way past might have been under brakes at the end of either straight, on the inside, but though we were allowed, it probably wasn't worth the risk. Look forward to a rematch mate!!!! That was awesome fun!!
Special thanks to the Bikestore for getting my tyre warmers to me in time for this weekend!! Thanks Eddy - excellent service!! And thanks to Brian too for organising the garage etc for us for both days!! Looking forward to a rematch on your new bike!!!
There sure is!! You really learn a lot if you keep using different trailers too. Really useful the first few times to travel with people who've done it before if you can.
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

Thanks to Frosty and everyone who helped out to make the trackday - you folks are AWESOME.
The day was a real blast, it was my first day on a track and I'm keen for more. Really enjoyed meeting the other kiwibikers and putting some faces to the usernames.
yeh.. must have been
First time riding the bike and first shinanigans in quite a few months but started getting the hang of it just as the checkered flag came out
P.s. did I mention how impressed I was that we got 3 yes THREE sessions before lunch..... Awesome stuff Frosty and Co, the changes between sessions was fast and effective.

I second thatThe sessions moved through so smoothly and quickly that I bearly had time to cool down. Got in 5 sessions before calling it a day (seeing it was my 3rd track day in a row that weekend)
Didn't see any wheelies but got a close up view of the arse end of the R6. What's with the early braking on the back straight !!
Had a good time following you and showing off the extra horsie's of the K6 ! Got to savour these moments while I still can![]()
Clearly you weren't listening during the riders briefing Mark - as the passing rider it's your responsibility to find a safe way to pass, it's not up to the rider in front. If they don't it's not an excuse to cut into their line, particularly in the slow group. It's not a race, however in a race I'm fairly certain no one is going to be pulling over to give you a safe way past.... Some people were out their to work on improving their technique, not just target another rider and make it their mission to get past at all costs.
